hmm.. yes, I'm planning a trip, and my next holiday destination is re-visiting Ho Chi Ming City - Vietnam. I want to vist the various tourist attractions and a relaxful retreat.

This time round again, i'm traveling alone. cos dunno who want to go with me there.

Planning to go there around end August after my industrial attachment. most probably will take Tiger Airways flight to there as air journey to there is only 1 h 30 mins and also budget- S$169 for a round trip air ticket, inclusve of all taxes.


I've been there last year with my relatives, but didn't get to enjoy cos was staying at the rural kampong for the entire week. In the kampong villlage there; nothing to do, nothing to see, but got tasty food there. =) haha. I miss the chicken noodles and meat rice. Even singapore-based vietnamese restuarant cannot compare to it. I want to do shopping at there too. =)


Done much research on the accommodations details and had some in mind.

Most probably will spent 5 days 4 nights there, and set my total expenses at S$420, which is more than enough. cos everything there is relatively low costs. anyway still have much vietnam currency from the previous trip

favourable exchange rate S$1 = ~10 555 Dongs
accommodation costs less than S$24 per night,
food costs less than S$1 per person.

now to my holiday trip is 2 months time, so what i need to do is save money for the expenses. haha. Looking forward towards that day. =)
